Tony Daverso has been part of the 2fifty crew for years, and he brings something to our smokehouse that goes beyond skill.

Tony communicates in sign language. From the beginning, Debby and Fernando made sure there were no barriers, learning and signing with him directly so the focus could stay where it belongs. On the work, the team and on getting better every day.

Ask Tony what he loves most about 2fifty and he will tell you it is the passion. The way everyone pushes each other. The way improvement is a shared responsibility. No one working alone. Always as a team.

That spirit feels familiar to him.

Tony comes from an Italian family where food was never just food. His grandfather made sausages by hand, not to sell them, but to give them away. A bag of links handed to neighbors was his way of saying thank you. Gratitude, expressed through craft.

That idea lives here too.

At 2fifty, barbecue is about more than what comes off the smoker. It is about how we show up for each other and for our guests. It is about removing barriers so everyone can do their best work. It is about generosity, shared across the counter.

When you walk into the smokehouse, you are tasting that teamwork.

Come by this week. Bring someone with you. Sit, share a tray, and be part of it.
