Maydān x 2fifty: One Night, Two Fires
Some nights carry more weight than others. On Thursday, September 18, two fires will meet at Maydān in Washington, DC. 2fifty Texas BBQ and Maydān, each rooted in tradition, each guided by fire, will come together for one table, one menu, and one unforgettable night.
This collaboration isn’t just about food. It’s about craft, heritage, and the stories smoke can tell when it crosses borders.
The Menu
The evening’s menu has been curated and brought to life by our Pitmaster, Fernando González — honoring both houses of fire while carrying the stamp of 2fifty’s smoke and patience.

First Wave
Mouneh, hummus with poblano, casik, havuc, and bread. A spread to open the table.
Second Wave
Chopped salad, pulled lamb from Elysian Fields Farms, toum, our 2fifty chimichurri, signature spicy sauce, and tahina. Layers of tradition, flavor, and fire.
Third Wave Options
- Tomahawk (Prime grade, dry aged, Roseda Farms)
- Brisket (Prime grade, Creekstone Farms)
- Half chicken, branzino, cauliflower, or carrots
Each main carries the mark of wood, flame, and patience.
