2Fifty Texas BBQ has officially been inducted into the James Beard Foundation Good Food Finder, a curated directory highlighting food businesses committed to culinary excellence and responsible food practices.
We believe barbecue is measured by more than what lands on the tray.
The Good Food Finder recognizes restaurants that value sourcing, sustainability, transparency, and community impact alongside the food itself. For us, that work starts long before service, with the wood feeding the offset smokers, the producers behind the ingredients, and the discipline required to cook barbecue the right way every day.
At 2Fifty, the pits run on all wood. Fires are managed by hand. Briskets stay in the smoker for hours, demanding patience and consistency from the team behind them.
Being included by the James Beard Foundation is meaningful because it recognizes not just flavor, but the intention behind the craft.
