The New York Times lists 2fifty Texas BBQ among The 25 Best Restaurants in Washington, D.C., Right Now. We have been on the list since it was first published in April 2024, and we are still on it today.
It is a list of the whole city, not just barbecue, which is what makes it special for us. A wood-only smokehouse that started under a tent in Riverdale Park now sits next to the restaurants that define dining in the capital.
