“All Wood? All Good!” But the truth is—good wood doesn’t just show up. It’s chosen. Cared for. Seasoned with patience and purpose.

For 5 years, the Prince family - David, Zachary and James - has been the soul behind our smoke. They hand-select every piece of wood we use. They dry it, age it, and prepare it with an expert’s eye and a craftsman’s heart. Their work isn’t just a service—it’s a partnership built on trust, excellence, and shared pride.

At 2Fifty BBQ, wood is more than fuel. It’s our main ingredient. It shapes the flavor, the texture, the soul of every slice of brisket and every rack of ribs. Without the Prince family, there is no fire—and without the fire, there is no us.

Here’s to 5 years of smoke, and many more to come.

They’ve always worked quietly behind the scenes—a little camera shy, never seeking the spotlight. But recently, the talented Sofie Macaluso caught a rare glimpse of them through her lens.

Respect to the Prince family—our unsung pitmasters of the flame.
